So did we... or actually, at the bench just on the other side. The girls are getting old enough to be interested in Mom and Dad's "romance," and that's exactly why they want to go to the Tridge... 'cause that is where we got engaged. :-)
I was in Midland a couple weeks ago for my grandfather's memorial service... I remember visiting this place as a child with my great aunt...there was a statue that I've never forgotten. I wish my visit had afforded me the time to stop while we were there.
