This is so fun! My special place is my kitchen. I always try to have lunch cleaned up by the time nap time comes around and then I sit with my Bible and my coffee in my favorite mug to have my quiet time. The favorite mug is also essential. =) The kitchen isn't that amazing, but I like the fact that it is small and cozy and that I can have at least one place that is in order in the middle of the day (most of the time) since I rest best when there isn't clutter. Where is your current favorite place in your home?
ReplyDeleteit would probably have to be curled up in a fulani-made chair right in front of the AC in our bedroom. that's where i like to do my devos, read, snuggle the baby, sit and talk to hubs, where my friend and i meet for prayer each week... i try to keep our bedroom always neat and clutter free... which is also important to me. i'm finding that the older i get, the more minimalist i become. only one problem. i usually have to chase a kid or husband out of it b/c so many of us like that place. i usually like to have a bottled coke sitting with me... but a cup of coffee or hot tea with husband or friend is also delightful!
