chattering preschooler excited from the latest French phrase she's learned who insists on her necklace and earrings before she can go to her summer program...
piles of laundry to fold...
slightly cooler weather (it's only 81' as I type - yeah!)... and yummy Italian soup for lunch with Focaccio bread...
...normally a meal we'd appreciate on a cold and wet wintry Michigan day - but it does great with our cooler and wetter weather here, too.
And, ...a little bit sadly but also with some eager anticipation...
it is our last official day of summer vacation.
Brendan starts school at Sahel Academy tomorrow!
