It was a bit of an impromptu, impulsive decision...
We'd had such a great time last year, we missed our friends, we really didn't need any excuse to head back.
We just had to decide to do it.
And we did...
All of those miles?
They were definitely worth it!
It is such a gift to have friends where the welcome is always warm (especially when you live in Michigan and it is wintertime!) and the simple delight in another's presence is easy and comfortable.
It was a welcome too short-lived... at least from our perspective!
